The second IPA in our Juice Life Cycle, Raised in the Juicy. This time around, we paired a complex grist of Maris Otter, Red Wheat, and White Wheat with a hop bill of Chinook, Michigan Chinook, Michigan Cascade, and Mosaic to create a surreal blend of fruity and dank hop punches with a solid malt foundation. And just look at that handsome little guy riding the horsey! How could you say no to a face like that?

A: Pours a lightly hazy pale to medium yellow in color with moderate amounts of active visible carbonation rising quickly from the bottom of the glass and moderate straw yellow + pale golden yellow colored highlights. The beer has a three finger tall dense sudsy frothy bright white head that slowly reduces to a couple of small patches of thin film surrounded by a large patch of very thin film covering the remainder of the surface of the beer and a medium thick ring at the edges of the glass. Significant amounts of lacing are observed.
S: Moderate to strong aromas of juicy tropical/passionfruit, tropical/mango, tropical/guava, citrus/grapefruit, and stone fruit/peach hops along with moderate aromas of dank resinous pine hops over the top of light to moderate aromas of biscuit + wheat malts with a light amount of caramel-like sweetness.
T: Upfront there are just shy of moderate flavors of biscuit + wheat malts with a light amount of caramel-like sweetness. That is followed by moderate to strong flavors of juicy tropical/passionfruit, tropical/mango, tropical/guava, citrus/grapefruit, and stone fruit/peach hops along with moderate flavors of dank resinous pine hops which impart a light amount of bitterness which fades away quickly leaving lingering juicy citrus + tropical and dank hop flavors.
M: Just shy of medium bodied with moderate amounts of carbonation. Slightly crisp initially with a light to moderate amount of soft/fluffiness mid-body and a light to moderate amount of dryness in the finish.
O: Easy to drink with well hidden alcohol (especially considering the strength) and a pleasantly soft mouthfeel. Very enjoyable with a really nice combination of juicy tropical + citrus hops along with dank hops. Excellent.
