'Bloomin' in the Juicy' marks the return of our Juicy series, depicting the life cycle of our brand...through creepy illustrations of head brewer Vince. This one is a big DIPA, packed with a very wide plethora of oats and wheat, then loaded to the brim with Mosaic and Crystal hops, along with an extreme amount of hibiscus in the whirlpool for an extra fruity-tooty character. We flipped the script and pummelled it with even more Mosaic and a heaping pile of Amarillo in the dry-hop, along with an equally extreme amount of hibiscus. Fruity as all get-out, this is gonna make you rip that scoot’ on down the block, bust a grind or two, and impress the whole crew. It won't give you wings, but it might make you more radical ??.

A: Pours an almost opaque yet lightly hazy medium to dark purplish rose in color with light to moderate amounts of active visible carbonation rising slowly along the edges of the glass and moderate purple + copper + golden yellow + dark ruby red colored highlights. The beer has a two finger tall sudsy foamy pinkish white head that quickly reduces to a large patch of mottled very thin film covering the entire surface of the beer and a thin ring at the edges of the glass. Light amounts of lacing are observed.
S: Moderate aromas of earthy + floral + herbal + citrus/grapefruit + tropical/pineapple hops over the top of slightly stronger than moderate aromas of hibiscus and light to moderate aromas of biscuit + wheat + oat malts with minimal amounts of sweetness.
T: Upfront there are light to moderate flavors of biscuit + wheat + oat malts with minimal amounts of sweetness. That is followed by moderate to strong flavors of hibiscus. Finally there are moderate flavors of slightly juicy earthy + floral + herbal + citrus/grapefruit + tropical/pineapple hops which impart a light amount of bitterness which fades away quickly leaving lingering moderate hibiscus + tropical hop flavors.
M: Just shy of medium bodied with light to moderate amounts of carbonation. Light amounts of soft/fluffiness mid-body and a moderate amount of dryness in the finish.
O: Drinks fairly easily with well hidden alcohol but perhaps a touch too much dryness in the finish and a little too much hibiscus flavor/aroma for me.

Pours a wierd purple tinted copper color small one finger white bubbles that fall quick to a ring. No real lace to soak of.
Aroma is juicy fruits kind of mellow for a hazy, nice floral undertones I guess from the hibiscus or just go strain. Riding on a bisquit malt base. Overall not a bad nose but on the mellow side for a double.
Taste light fruity hazy hops, but it's soon overpowered by lightly dry tart notes that I assume is the hibiscus as it's not normal for an IPA. Finish is lingering fruit and tartness with hints of bitter that in reality just confuse my tounge. Might just be I don't dig hibiscus in my beer so let me know if I'm off on this.
Mouhfeel is medium really mellow carbonation, one of the few times I think a little more might be better.
Overall eh this isn't for me, not really bad just different. If I want a tart IPA I would just get a Brett one.
