With Contact Contact We wanted to highlight a different hop bouquet than what we typically see out there (citrus, berry, resin, etc. etc.) and bring forth a maximum amount of tropical melon! So we slammed Jaryllo, Azacca, and Huell Melon together atop a bed of Wheat and Oats, and we got one hell of a drinkable IPA for 6.9%. Wave after wave of bright Cantaloupe, Honeydew, Watermelon, and Papaya all slathered in fresh-squeezed Orange juice. If a Summer Fruit Salad had a vibe, this would be it.

A: Pours a murky medium golden apricot in color with moderate amounts of fine active visible carbonation rising along the edges of the glass and moderate pale golden yellow + bright yellow + bright orange + honey colored highlights. The beer has a three finger tall dense sudsy foamy off-white head that slowly reduces to a couple of medium sized patches of medium thick film surrounded by a large patch of very thin film covering the remainder of the surface of the beer and a medium thick ring at the edges of the glass. Slightly heavier than moderate amounts of lacing are observed.

S: Moderate to strong aromas of juicy citrus/orange + citrus/tangerine + tropical/honeydew melon + tropical/papaya + tropical/cantaloupe + tropical/watermelon hops over the top of light to moderate aromas of biscuit + pale + oat + wheat malts with a light amount of sugary sweetness.

T: Upfront there are light to moderate flavors of biscuit + pale + oat + wheat malts with a light amount of sugary sweetness. That is followed by moderate to strong flavors of juicy citrus/orange + citrus/tangerine + tropical/honeydew melon + tropical/papaya + tropical/cantaloupe + tropical/watermelon hops which impart a very light amount of bitterness which fades away almost instantly leaving lingering melon + citrus/orange hop flavors.

M: Light to medium bodied with moderate amounts of carbonation. Moderate amounts of soft/fluffiness mid-body with a light to moderate amount of dryness in the finish.

O: Easy to drink with well hidden alcohol and a pleasantly soft/fluffy mouthfeel with just enough dryness. Very enjoyable and interesting with the citrus/orange + tropical/melon hops and different than a lot of other NEIPAs on the market.
