Originally, this was brewed to be released for the wedding of Ben Silvestro and Natalie Flores. The wedding was delayed due to COVID, so we decided to Lager this baby for a while longer than normal. Also, Ben rules and he deemed this ready, so after over 3 months in the tanks, “Florestro” is comin’ for y’all! And at 4.2%, it’s sure to defend your good times!

This Dark Mexican Lager started with a base of 100% Epiphany malt, comprised of Munich, Vienna, Rice, and Corn, and was lightly hopped with Huell Melon. We get notes of raisin bread fresh out of the toaster, grilled sweet corn, a touch of cantaloupe and lychee, and a nice, crispy, dry bite at the end courtesy of the rice. Essentially, this is a summer picnic in beer form. Eminently crushable, with just enough malt to balance it all out. YES!

A huge early congratulations to Ben and Natalie. We absolutely can’t wait to celebrate your official union!! BIG BIG CHEERS!!!!

16 oz can, no date. Label indicates it's brewed with Munich Malt, Corn, Rice. And Huell Melon hops

pours a medium amber color, a little lighter than I would have expected for a "Mexican style Dark Lager". but thick cream colored head, good head retention and lacing. aroma is slightly toasty, earthy hops. taste is well balanced, enough malty flavor to be interesting, but mild enough to be easy drinking. fairly dry finish. thin to medium bodied.

Bright and clear honey-amber colored body; thick and creamy white head. Sweet and fruity aroma; raisins and peach; a touch of honey. Fairly sweet taste, peach; mild hop bitterness. Medium body; glassy; some dryness emerges near the finish.

The beer looks and smells fantastic, tastes and feels rather mundane. And I guess a dark lager means, in this case, a deep amber color. An okay beer overall.
