Had this beer at the brewery poured into a small snifter.
Very unusual and satisfying beer, many flavors present themselves. The bar keep said that many things were blended in this beer!
It was a inky dark brown with very little head or lacing. The most prominent smell and flavor is dark chocolate along with what I think is barley. Very herbal and floral. Fruit flavors come in as it warms: raspberries, boysenberry, and cassis.
This is a memorable beer and am sad I will likely not be able to enjoy it again.
