We’ve been SPIRIT-PALS with the Tactical Brewing crew for FAR TOO LONG, and finally got the chance to host them and conjure up a long-awaited collab...or three. Of course, we had to channel our inner spirit-guides which leads us to a holy land of weirdness.
We started with a grist that was just double that of our normal Cream Ale grist (100% Riverbend - Pilsner, Corn, Munich, Vienna, Oats), and that’s essentially where normalcy left the building. We are truly very stoked to have gotten time with these folks, and the creative juices that flowed forth are quite nice, too!
“Trust the OUIJA” consists solely of the first-runnings of the mash for maximum body and malt impact. We then hit it with a LARGE dosing of Walker Honey Farms Sage Honey and gobs of BRU-1 on the hot side before fermenting it with our House IPA yeast. It then got an initial dry-hop of BRU-1 and Citra, spunded for dat natural carbonation, and then a second dry-hop of Idaho 7 and Mosaic Cryo. Big body, big hop character, big spooky vibes.
Notes of Peach Galette drizzled in Honey, incantations bringing forth the dead, dried Mango and Pineapple trail mix, Blueberry Hi-Chews, and a touch of that beautiful haunted dankness.

Had on tap. The bro-in-law picked this one out, great work! Completely hazy juicy yellowy orange body with a eggshell white head with plenty of lacing to boot. Get that honey right away in the nose, like an even sweeter hopslam: pineapple, mango, peach, clementine, with mild hops. Taste kicks it up a notch drizzling the honey appropriately upon the fruits with the additions of cantaloupe, lime, and grapefruit, hops have some floral accents now too. Super drinkable and dripping with juicy, soft, smooth, and lush, hops kiss the sip and culminate on the finish with medium flair.

We love reviews (150 characters or more)! Check out: How to Review a Beer. You don't need to get fancy. Drop some thoughts on the beer's attributes (look, smell, taste, feel) plus your overall impression. Something that backs up your rating and helps others. Thanks!
