Had a 16 ounce can. The can simply stated it was a Double Dry Hopped India Pale Ale.
Poured and it was immediately evident that this was a hazy looking New England IPA.
This somewhat confused me as there was no mention on the can of any ingredients of a New England Style, however online sights advertise it as such.
Bright golden hazy pour with a good head and strong lacing.
Smell is slightly citrusy.
The beer tastes very dry with no fruit flavors evident, yet does not taste like a traditional IPA either. Very dry bitter feel. While not a bad tasting beer it is definitely one that is very different and not quite something I find quite appealing, but everyone’s taste buds are different.
Do not taste the alcohol. The dry aftertaste grows on you somewhat favorably.
