“The Hustle is Heart Break” is our newest West Coast IPA, and we really just cannot get enough of this series.
Mashed with Riverbend 2-Row, Red Wheat, a touch of Crystal malt, and just a kiss of Dextrin malt. Hit HARD on the hot side with Michigan Centennial, Columbus and Citra, fermented low and slow with our Pub Ale yeast and spunded for dat natural carb. Dry hopped only once, but rather aggressively with MORE Citra, Mosaic, Columbus, Cascade, and a bunch of Centennial Cryo.
Notes of bittersweet Mango fruit leather rolled in Blueberry skins and coated in coniferous tree sap, biting straight into an unpeeled Grapefruit, some sorta marijuana reference, and that first righteous pint of Boneyard IPA you had…although their IPA is still VERY relevant…and in cans!

Good traditional AIPA. Poured from a 16 oz can into a pint glass, this beer features a dark gold color and a bubbly white head that settles into foam. Very good head retention and thick lacing on the glass. Aroma and taste include lots of pine and some grapefruit with good bitterness. Very good flavor. Mouthfeel was more crisp than resiny with good bitternes and no harsh alcohol notes. a nice change from the onslaught of NEIPAs out there.

Poured a golden, dark-orange body with minimal head and lace. Aroma is floral and herbal with some light grassiness to it as well. Smooth, slightly bitter, medium and plush body with a grapefruit sweetness and some other flavors I really can't pinpoint. Clean beer with a dry, bready finish along with minimal hop bitterness so not only well-balanced but easy to drink.

Picked up a single at the Blue Door Bottleshop 2-17-22 for $5.50. No canning date; consumed 5-13-22.
Beer poured deep golden with a beautiful white head that has great hang time.
Nose is very nice, a combination of citrus, berry, tropical, and dank.
Taste follows the nose with a lighter pale malt base and hopping that brings forward grapefruit, pine, mango, and blueberry. Finishes with a nice piney bitterness; 7/10 on my scale.
Mouthfeel is light to medium bodied and refreshing.
Overall a solid WCIPA that i would have again!
