Typical cloudy orange in color. Not much head to speak of. Nose was citrus, fruit loopish. Taste was tangerines and maybe cantaloupe. White pepper on backend with a spike in bitterness that smoothly crosses the back of palate.

Getting back to piles and piles of hops, Dssolvr stacks a double dose of Vic Secret, Motueka, Nelson Suvin, Nelson Sauvin and Riwaka hops for a mountain that's worth dying upon.

Its with a heavy cloud, swirling with golden, taupe and milky tan hues, Return To Magic Cloud Mountain starts to drift across the nose with a plethora of tropical, citrus, orchard fruit, melon, stone fruit, vinous fruit and herb for a complete cornucopia of fragrances. As its cereal sweetened malts coat the tongue, notions of shortcake, honey and bread dough bring on a sugar cookie character.

But the hops steal the show as a fruit cocktail of citrusy orange, lemon and pink grapefruit stand out first. Not to be overshadowed, a tropical followup of passionfruit, pineapple, mango and papaya add a creamy and tangy succulence. Wrapped in a cocoon of cantaloup, apricot and grape lends a flood of juicy flavors before trending herbally bitter with spruce, hemp, citrus peel and tea leaf.

Medium-full on the palate, a late tendency to fade allows the plump grains to deliver on sweeter promises to accompany all that fruit flavor for a session that sides on the sweeter side of bitter-sweet and with a malty-dry finish.
