THE CIRCUS HAS ARRIVED! “Psychedelic Circus” is next up in our series of IPA’s designed by our production staff! We asked them to take a stab at retooling a Table IPA recipe for us, since we’re all thirsting for a nice and easy crusher with the warm weather approaching, and by-golly did they crush it! They’re the ones who handle the hop bags for dry-hopping, so we wanted to let their minds wander with some combinations based on their personal experiences with the hops. Mashed with Riverbendmalt 2-Row and a smidge of Proximitymalt Wheat Malt, along with a kiss of Flaked Wheat. Hopped in the Whirlpool with El Dorado for that fruity-breakfast-cereal note, fermented with our House IPA yeast and spunded for dat natty carb. Dry hopped at first with more El Dorado for a ramped-up fruit salad note, and then dry hopped a second time with BRU-1, Talus, and Nelson Sauvin CGX to collectively push a much more tropical-fruit-meets-stone-fruit vibe. We experience the aforementioned things: fruity-breakfast-cereal, White Peach and Papaya, Pineapple candies and maybe some Hi-Chew notes, and a bit of fresh Sauv Blanc juice. Super crushable and hyper approachable. It ticks all the boxes while maintaining crushability first! We’re loving how well these new IPAs are coming together and are extremely excited to present the second in a series of beers designed by our production crew! So if ya see em, raise a glass and give ‘em a toast cuz they’re what makes this place run!

Rambling off terms like El Dorado, Bru-1, Talus and Nelson Sauvin Cryo, you've got to think that someone's on psychedelics. And you'd be almost right.
Pale, hazy and pastel in a light golden matte appearance, DSSOLVR's Psychedelic Circus celebrates these hop varieties in a mosh pit for the tastebuds, starting off with a candied citrus perfume and suggestions of botanical herbs and tropical fruit. Sweet with cereal, honeysuckle and angel food cake, the early palate is soft and pastry-like. As those curious hops bring a cornucopia of fruit flavors to the middle palate, a soft and smooth bitterness allows a semblance of bitterness to come in the way of balsa, verbena, tea leaf, hemp and sassafras.
Medium bodied, creamy and smooth, the session finishes mellow, soothing and quite underwhelming. This hop blend showcases a lot of hops that work well in complement with more pronounced hops but paired with more second-note flavors and this circus is just too mild to be memorable
