A new entry in our DDH Fruited DIPA Series, Soul Seeker is mashed with a base of 100% @Riverbendmalt, comprised of Chesapeake Pilsner, Oats, Wheat, and Chit Malt to give an amped up and luscious body, hopped on the hot side with BRU-1 and hot-dipped in the Fermenter with El Dorado Dynaboost, and then fermented with our House Hazy IPA yeast. Dry-hopped the first time around with a heavy dose of Ella and a whole mess of Pineapple, spunded for natural carbonation, and then double-dry-hopped with Vic Secret, Citra Hop Kief, and Pineapple Terpenes.

Pulling out all the hoppy stops, Dssolvr employs all the hop trending in beer making to form a hop bomb that requires some soul searching.

Pale gold and cast in a firm and foggy haze, Soul Seeker releases a creamy white froth and a fruit filled, herbal and dank perfume. Musty citrus, tropical fruit and stone fruit blend into an early taste of cereal, honey and bready malts for a creamy substrate of sweetness. Hops bounce off the tongue with a sharper taste of white grapefruit, orange, lime and mango. An overcast of pineapple steers the session into a tropical direction while passionfruit, papaya and honeydew wrap up the fruit cocktail. Trending spicy and bitter with an herbal array that spans verbena, sassafras, green tea, cannabis and pine resins, the finish is bitter, slightly tannic and extending with fruit peel.

Found it! At the heart of the session is the attempt to find the part of the unconscious that hops help to satisfy.
