I am not normally a fan of raspberry beers, and I was not fond of the other Trailhead beers I had on this visit, but this one was well-made and tasty.

Enjoyed on-tap @ Trailhead Brewing Company in St. Charles, MO for $3.50. Tapped from the Fuchsia Tap Handle w/ Riverboat Raspberry on it into a 16oz Pint Glass.
Aroma- The aroma presents itself as a raspberry candy for the longest time. Sweet malts and a slight crisp aroma backs it up. Very pleasant!
Appearance- Received with a .5 finger head that dies fairly quickly. Has a peach colored body and quite the haze to it. Leaves only sudsy lacing.
Flavor- The beginning of the taste of this one is awesome! Nice raspberry flavor with light grains/wheaty attributes. However, the finish had a dry and boring character that ruined it... If the beginning of this drink could continue, we would have a great beer!
Mouthfeel- Light Bodied, Medium Carbonation, Smooth, and leaves only grain behind.
Overall Impression- A nice Raspberry flavored beer but nothing to go crazy about. Nice flavors but wish there was more carbonation and finishing flavors... Left us with nothing to tell our friends about.

Served this Fruit beer at the brewery, on-tap, in a pint glass. This beer poured a light clear straw color. Produced a thin white head with poor retention and poor lacing. The aroma had a decent sweet raspberry smell...that was impressive. The body was light, thin, watery. Once you got past the water, there was an overpowering almost medicinal sweet raspberry flavor. This beer was not very well balanced....perhaps if there were a bit more of a malt base...they could have pulled this off... Reminded me to much of cough syrup to enjoy this...

Pours a cloudy golden-yellow. 1/4 inch head with slight retention and low lacing. Fits the style. It was sweet and fruity up front, but a weak finish and no real distinguished aftertaste. Smooth, crisp, with low carbonation. Overall, a raspberry brew that was too much flavoring and too little beer.

A - A very slightly tinted red-gold brew supports a white half-finger head that sticks around for a while.
S - A basic lager aroma is accented with a lightly fruity raspberry note.
T - I appreciate the fact that this is not overly fruity. The raspberry notes are apparent, but not overly obnoxious.
M - Light bodied, highly carbonated, and very refreshing. Sort of reminds me of Clearly Canadian.
D - Highly thirst quenching and refreshing, but it's nothing special. Pretty good for a fruit beer. I like the restrained demonstrated with the fruit.

Sample at the brewpub: This beer is a hazy dark yellow color with a medium thin white head that burns off steadily. Stringy lacing. Aroma of raspberry sherbet and wheat. Light body with a tart raspberry character, with hints of zesty hops. The finish is akin to a raspberry Flintstones vitamin, if they make that flavor. Not very good.
