a solid and modern dry hopped wheat beer, some bitterness to it, but mostly fruity and bright, approaching wheat ipa even, but still light and drinkable, quite a well made beer, and one of their more outside the box recipes that was happening when i was in. a slightly deeper color than they typical pale wheat, fluffy white head from the tap, and a neat earthy nose, maybe even lightly toasted to me, but the hops stand out a lot more than the malt does, with stone fruit and sweet citrus in the mix, ripe peach, dried apricot, candied orange peel, and maybe some mango, not overdosed or anything, and with an herbal aspect too, nice balance overall, and even a little different than others in its field, a nice thing to see from such a new operation! its a bit fuller feeling with all the wheat and the little deeper complexion, but the hops are fruity and lighten it, and i like the little bit of bitterness this has on the back end. a touch of yeast character too, maybe fermented just a tad on the warm side, a little out of place, estery but subtle, fine with the hops, but maybe not here on purpose. this place is cool, they seem ahead of the curve for being as young as they are, worth poking in!
