Clear, golden amber body; gently rising carbonation; very dense and creamy white head, sticky. Earthy, dank smelling aroma; toasted grains. Well-rounded honey and biscuit malt flavor; mildly sweet with a touch of bitterness; a slight touch of herbal flavors; slight mineral presence. Medium body; moderate residual sugar presence and warmth; a bit sweet, a tad warm on the palate.
This is a tasty, malt-foward beer that hits the spot.

Poured from a bottle of unknown quantity with a ceramic lid and wire cage, "best before" date 040920.
APPEARANCE: pours a clear copper color with less than one-finger off-white head, excellent retention, there is moderate lacing on the glass, higher than average carbonation.
SMELL: bread and an earthy, dank note.
TASTE: the taste follows the nose, initially sweet caramel and bread then an earthy, dank note, definitely a malt forward beer to be sure.
PALATE: light body and higher than average carbonation.
OVERALL: I'm not a fan of this beer, the earthy, dank note was not to my liking for this style, I would not seek this one out again.

From the bottle, it pours a light hazy golden color with a thick, lovely head that lasts and lasts. Lacing abounds. Light malt scent with possibly a hint of hops. Flavor is lightly bitter and extremely pleasant. Wow!
