Appearance: Brilliant, clear pale gold. Fast rising bubbles. Frothy white head with good retention.
Aroma: Floral and yeasty.
Flavor & aftertaste: Grainy, light spiciness, low sweetness.
Palate: Drying, no astringency. Medium to high carbonation. Light bodied. Short finish.
Overall: This is a "small" Farmhouse/Saison or many refer to it as a "table" beer. It's a very attractive beer, brilliantly clear pale gold with an effervescent quality. Low in ABV vs average. It's not a knock you socks off Saison. Not the intention. It is light and very effervescent. Has a dry, champagne-like quality. Great head retention. No bitterness with a short finish. Very much an everyday, summer Saison to be drank with meals or poolside.
