bottle at last night's share. 2007 vintage. Another normal pour, leading into a boozy, woody, dark roasty aroma. Taste is more of the same, bourbon-y notes, mildlt sweet, and a bit of burn.

Smells of bourbon as it should being aged in bourbon barrels. Tried a 2013 bottle in 2022. Aged very well. Nose is one of the better parts of it however as a smooth drinking flavor. A little bit of cinnamon after taste.

Almost Perfect! Great job Saint Louise brewing! Even after 10 years!

I got a bottle of this dated 2010 and cellared it along with a similar bottle of Schlafly barleywine.
I will admit to being astonished that this hadn't been reviewed previously
After a long time in the bottle there is not much aroma It pours pitch black with very;little head
The taste is malty slightly sweet
feels smooth but not thin altogether a very nice stout
