Atmosphere and old school character/charm kinda place, lots of brick, lots of dark wood, multiple rooms all in a classic old building.
Friendly staff and just a short ride from the Cardinals baseball yard.
They also have been producing high quality beers for decades.
I enjoyed a tasty salad with salmon and some pale aleā¦.delicious
Lots of their beers flowing on tap and in cans to go, also a well stocked merchandise store by the main doors. This is a must visit spot if in the Loo.

This iconic brewery/taproom is located just outside downtown St. Louis, less than a 10 minute drive from the baseball stadium. It is on a side street but has a large adjoining parking lot. The venue is housed in a repurposed industrial building and has a lot of character. There are several rooms with bars which can accommodate a large crowd. The decor is something between industrial chic and a German hofbrau. There is a full kitchen but we did not order food. The waitress was attentive without interfering. There were over a dozen draught selections and the beers I ordered were all quite good. Overall, it was a great brewery experience and I hope to visit again.

When I visited: Fall 2024 with my wife, for our anniversary trip
What I had:
Schlafly Oktoberfest (draft)
Schlafly Pumpkin Ale (draft)
Sample of my wife's Pale Ale
Overall impression:
Spacious and inviting dark wood interior, lots of seating options, large and varied beer lineup. We enjoyed our table overlooking the taproom bar and the beers were fantastic. Was glad to finally try the Pumpkin Ale. Extensive beer-to-go selection and growlers/howlers available. My only criticism is that our waitress was a bit slow, and at one point I had to go to the bar to get my beer in decent time. Aside from that, though, we had a great time here and would definitely recommend visiting.

The Schlafly Tap room is in a cool old building in St. Louis area closer to Union Station and the Kiel Center...or at least what used to be called the Kiel Center. There is a new soccer stadium being build right next door basically. The inside is old school pub decor which mirrors the tone of the building. The quality of the food and beer are above average. The service was very nice and attentive. There is plenty of food items to select from and they had 16 of their own beers on tap....should find something. The food was really good....I have the shaved prime rib sandwich with fries....NICE!

Visited here last summer and there was a band playing inside. Busy but not overly crowded, and still very good service. Good beer selection and informative beertenders. Overall very cool vibes all around, I'd definitely go back next time I'm in STL.

Big place with a cool bar and lots of seating for the restaurant folk. Visited on a Wednesday late afternoon and there were lots of families and folks from downtown who had just gotten off work. Beer selection was awesome. I had a hard time choosing what to try, and was generally happy with my selections. Service was just okay. Got a very cool t-shirt and some beer to take home. Fish and chips were awesome.

Not enough APAs in the world can make that BIT worth the 13 bucks. And most of their beers or above average replacements for AB. Go down the street to... well anything.

Ate at 7pm on a Friday night. Plenty of seating available, as place was about half full. Large selection of beers available. The beers are average to good, you can see their reviews separately. Service was good, but they were not busy. The food was also good, nothing was bad but nothing stood out either. Overall it's a good place to experience part of the St. Louis food scene.

I went in for an early lunch so I'm sure I didn't get the entire "vibe" that everyone else possibly had but the "vibe" at the time was just perfect enough for me to enjoy my AWESOME pretzel app and my hamburger with my AMAZING black IPA.
