My old neighbor and good friend got me this one. It poured a hazy yellow with white head that is leaving a spotty lace. The scent had hints of citrus peel and flowers. The taste was nicely balanced and easy to drink. There was a nice floral tone with citrus peel accent. The mouthfeel was medium in body with good carbonation. Overall maybe my favorite farmhouse ale.

This was a very interesting and refreshing take on an IPA. I'm a huge fan of both Farmhouse style ales and India Pale Ales as well. I loved the way this beer managed to blend the strong hop flavors with the spiciness and strong yeast flavors that you expect from Farmhouse Ale.

From the 10 month old bottle, it pours a very slightly hazy golden color with a large fluffy head. A bit too large fluffy head - but isn't that the fun of it?? Some hops in the nose, along with some funkiness. Somewhat sharp flavor in the mouth, enjoyable, though.

7/20....pours hazy, but bright, gold. Light white foam. Ring remains. Yeasty citrus funky nose. Earthy, some bubblegum hints too. Sharp citrus tart taste backed by a wheat based flavor. Funky off center bitter. There is a pine edginess to the bitter flavor. Truly feels like a saison based IPA.

Bottle was older than I hoped at about 75 days, but I thought this beer held up very well. Tasty and very much resembles a hybrid between saison and IPA. Nice.
