Appearance: Cloudy golden with a thin off-white head. and a wee bit o’ lace.

Aroma: Sweet and malty, with little evidence of hops here.

Taste: Earthy, sweet malty, and with some herbal, almost pine-oriented hops. Subtle and drinkable but not a favorite.

Pours a hazy, golden color. One inch head of an off-white color. Great retention and good lacing. Smells of earthiness, resin, hops, hint of piney hops, sweet malt, and slight tea. Fits the style of an American IPA. Mouth feel is sharp and crisp, with an average carbonation level. There is also a strong bitterness. Tastes of earthiness, resin, hops, hint of piney hops, sweet malt, and slight tea. Overall, good appearance, aroma, body, and blend.

Great smell, pungent & dank, but falls down on look, taste.

A: Pours a cloudy light gold with two fingers of white head. Moderate lacing & head retention.

S: Dank & catty, grass, wet leaves. Interesting and autumnal.

T: Follows the nose with more bready sweetness & slightly over ripe tangerine. Leaves & woody hops as it warmsm and finishes drying & catty.

MF: Medium body & slight carbonation, good balance, slightly chalky, acidic.

O: If you like single hop featured beer, this one is great, complex, original, and dank. definitely will come back and will share. Try 6.

Hazy gold, with a slight head, that goes down quickly. Smells like it tastes. Lots of pine, hops, and some spice in there. The flavors are bold. Good beer.

On tap at Cloverleaf Tavern. Had the pleasure of sampling no less than four hop varietals, and this was one of the better. Noticeable pine nuances dominate the nose and tongue. Citrus, lemon zest apparent throughout. Recommended.

Pours an opaque wheat, with a medium-thick (1 1/2cm) slightly off-white head. Head retention is fantastic with great lacing leaving dots all over the glass in a neat grid. Aroma is vibrant, spicy, and accentuated by floral, and spicy hops. Pine hop aromas fade as the beer warms. The flavor profile is spicy, herbal, and piney. Very well done, although a bit on the side of heart burn inducing. Malt notes center on biscuit, but provide an excellent foundation for the hops to play. Certainly an interesting and well put together flavor profile. Mouth feel is medium in consistency, with a boisterous velvety texture that helps the flavors fill up the palette. Overall, a very fun brew that gives drinkers an opportunity to dabble and experiment with different hops. It is heartier in feel and ABV than similar hop experimental beers, which makes this a fun beer to sip on for flavor, or as a part of a session, or at a grill out.

Served in a 12oz snifter.
