Light copper very clear with a thin cream colored head. It receded quickly but left a delicate lace. The aroma is caramel malt, light toffee and mild orange grapefruit. Taste has all the characters found in the aroma backed by a mild bitterness. Smooth rich mouth feel very drinkable. Schalfly’s ESB is always one of my favorite beers. This stacks up well, and seems a great session beer.
