Pours a hazy gold color. 1/2 inch head of an off-white color. Decent retention and decent lacing. Smells of ginger, lime, sweet malt, slight pale malt, and slight alcohol. Fits the style of an American Blonde Ale, though it is more of an American Strong Ale as it is high in alcohol and dominated by strong flavors and aged in liquor barrels. Mouth feel is sharp and clean, with an average carbonation level. There is also a liquor associated warmth on the palate. Tastes of ginger, lime, liquor, slight wood, alcohol, sweet malt, and pale malt. Overall, average appearance and feel, but the blend is amazing. I've never had a beer quite like this; the ginger and lime pair amazingly with the liquor/alcohol flavors that results in an vivacious ephemeral body.

Poured a clear, golden orange color with a small, tan head of foam. It smelled of lime and ginger. Nice acidic lime bite with a touch of ginger. A hint of booziness with a touch of caramel.

Pours a chill-hazed honey color with 2+ fingers of pearl colored head. Never drops bright, some lacing & head retention
S: White grapes, Golden delicious appleskins
T: Oakyness, to include dryness, a little honey crisp apple, plus white grapes & a little ginger up front. Oaky vanilla, dryness, white grape, green melon & ginger as this warms. Finishes almost like a Chardonay, dry oaky, pear & vanilla notes, a kiss of ginger & lemon
MF: Medium body, slight carbonation
Damn solid offering, this one I would recomend, some Moscow Mules aspects to this

Kentucky....Mint...is this an appropriate beer for Derby weekend? From an amusingly labeled bottle, this brew is completely clear, with a wonderful ginger-mint-and light malt aroma. There is also just a little floral and fruit notes. The taste is sweet, and the spice from the ginger really comes out. Some warmth. Well made, interesting, and worthwhile.
