Dark copper colored with a clear complexion. There’s a fingernail of off white around the rim and covering nearly all of the top. The aroma is of grassy German hops and light crackery malt. I’m tasting light crackery malt with just a hint of grassy hops. The mouth is light and crisp.

12oz can pours a rich golden yellow color with a small but dense head of off-white foam that fades to a very thick ring while leaving plenty of lacing. Smells of bready malts, a touch of honey, and a touch of noble hops. Rich bready malt flavor with subtle flavors of honey, caramel, and herbal hops. Slight sweetness, a mild bitterness that forms most of the aftertaste, medium body, and a fairly fizzy carbonation mouthfeel.

It's a decent Helles, but pretty basic and not particularly impressive. Probably along the lines of what I've come to expect from Schlafly. Don't think I'll buy again.

12oz can. Poured out a slightly cloudy, golden yellow color with a small, off-white head of foam. It left minimal lacing on the glass. It smelled of biscuit malt, toffee, caramel and floral notes. Sweet caramel taste with a midl bitterness.

Pours a pale yellow, slightly off-white head that dissipates in seconds. Aromas are grass, a touch of lemon, and bready malt.

The lemon is more forward on the taste, but it's a subdued flavor, along with the grassy flavor (noble hops) and the star of the show, the bready malt.

This is brewed in St Louis, which is fitting because St Louis is a GREAT baseball town, and this would be a great beer to enjoy once or twice or thrice (or quatrice or quintrice) at a ballgame on a hot summer day.

Clear yellow fizzy beer with not much head formation.

Smells strongly of pilsner malt. Scent of toasted grain and musty yeast. Scent of noble hop mostly grass.

Starts out malty with a hard water taste and some lemon from the hops. Mild to medium bitterness with a wheat biscuit malt flavor. Quite dry for the style, this is a mild beer meant to be drank in large amount.

Mouthfeel is average.

Overall clean and undemanding best sums up this beer. Not very expensive either it is worth a try.

Pours a clear straw color. 1/4 inch head of a white color. Good retention and slight lacing. Smells of strong pale malt, slight sweet malt, slight Euro yeast, hint of piney hops, and slight citrus hops. Fits the style of a Munich Helles Lager. Mouth fee is smooth and crisp, with an average carbonation level and slight dryness. Tastes of strong pale malt, slight sweet malt, slight Euro yeast, hint of piney hops, and slight citrus hops. Overall, decent aroma, blend, feel, and body.
