Black with thin head that quickly disappears. Strong smell of blueberry with roasted coffee. Tastes the same with a dose of bitterness that nicely balances the moderate caramel sweetness. The blueberry flavor is very nice. It doesn’t taste synthetic and in this grainy context, it reminds me of blueberry muffins. Really really tasty but it doesn’t lend itself to multiple servings. Bottle to glass.

Appearance: Nearly black, with a thin head of tan suds. No lace.
Aroma: Delightful coffee and blueberry. Seems to work well together.
Taste: A curious mix of coffee roastiness and sweet blueberry, with neither taking precedence. Tasty treat for fans of both coffee and blueberries (and beer). I love all three, so this is an easy winner.

Very Dark; Blueberry comes through on smell and taste; not too heavy; very "sweet beer"

Black in color with minimal light penetration. There's a quarter inch of creamy brown on top. Dark roasted coffee leads the way on the aromatics, followed by a light aroma of blueberry muffin. I'm tasting very sweet blueberry muffin and the coffee makes a distant lightly bitter appearance at the back of the palate. The mouth is lightly oily and viscous.

Pours a dark brown color. 1/3 inch head of an off-tan color. Slight retention and poor lacing. Smells of strong coffee, strong blueberry, sweet malt, and a hint of earthiness. Fits the style of an American Stout. Mouth feel is smooth and clean, with an average carbonation level. Tastes of coffee, strong blueberry, sweet malt, roasted malt, and slight earthiness. Overall, weak appearance, blueberry dominates aroma and body; the coffee and blueberry do not blend well.

On tap. Poured out an opaque, jet black color with a small, tan head of foam. It smelled of coffee, blueberry and roasted malt. It was understated blueberry with mild coffee notes.

This brew is a black beer with a brown foamy head. The aroma has a nice mix of fresh blueberries and espresso. I like the juxtaposition of the sweet berries and the heavily roasted beans. Some grain as well. The taste is lightly dry, with lots of roasted and deep malt flavors. The fruit comes out more and more as the beer warms. Full in body and well made.
