On tap at the hotel bar in Missouri. Pours a slight hazed light golden color with good lacing . Taste is fruity and malty with oranges ,grapefruit and sweet caramel malts . Mouthfeel is a classic old schools IPA balanced and hoppy.

12oz bottle into a pint glass. Bottled on date is blank.

Looks good enough in the glass. Hazy pale pineapple juice colored body. Small foamy bright white head persists in good form throughout leaving very nice lacing.

Aroma seems more grapefruit than anything else, and it's not sharp.

On tasting though, it's a little more floral. The citrus is still there, and although it's a pleasing blend, it does edge towards soapy.

Mouth medium, finish a little bitter and mouth watering.

Overall, my review is a bit all over the place, as may this beer be. Do I like it? Yes. ( I think)

This taste a lot like what an IPA needs/should be. Nice choice but not outstanding. A goto though for sure. If you like ipas, you like this.

Poured into a grip shaped goblet: color gold, head is off white with fine bubbles, presents 1 finger thick, then dissipates to solid top with thicker ring along the glass sides.

Smell is subdued - little hop and malt aroma - very light honey, toast, and earthy hops.

Taste is light - toasted malt, honey, light hops with earth and pine but really subtle.

Mouthfeel is crisp carbonation, low/moderate sweetness, moderate bitterness, lingering bite.

Overall a really light flavored but bitter IPA.

Herbal and resiny on the nose, touch of tropical sweetness (mango, pineapple?) somewhere in there that goes with the earthiness I'm getting from the herbal note. Smells like it's buried beneath the resin hoppy notes. Thick copper colored with a white foamy head that disappeared down to a thin layer after a minute. Nice lacing. Malty biscuit notes up front in the flavor that give way to a somewhat muted hop profile. The beer is about four months old, maybe fresher it would be more vibrant? Mouthfeel is pretty lively and finishes a little bitter, lingering pleasantly. The hop profile is made up of herbal notes and a hint of resin. I get the hint of the tropical notes that the bottle says is there with that same mild sweetness found in the nose. That wasn't my first impression however. Still a pretty well balanced IPA and very drinkable. Would probably be a staple in my fridge if I lived in the area, for the drinkability alone

Pours a lightly foggy, hazy orange with a finger of dense white foam. Head retention is good. Hops spring forward in the aroma, hitting notes of citrus, herbal, earthy and resiny for a dank and lightly sticky hop quality. Earthy and bready malts offer up a little support, but it's otherwise dominated by hops. Flavor profile is dank, herbal, zesty, citrus, resiny and floral hops, again, with malts as an afterthought. Malts come by way of earthy, toasty, and bready and offer up a modest level of contrast and support for the hops. Mouth feel is lightly fuzzy with a very thin particulate. It has a medium thickness. Overall, hops spring forward in the traditional way of an IPA, with support malts too.

Served in a 15.5oz Speigalau tulip from a 12oz bottle.
