Sampled last fall at Bottleworks.

Pour a tranlucent amber color with a decent head formation.

The nose is filled with the ample syrup sweetness.

The taste is also very sweet. There is some caramel malt but the maple syrup taste dominates.

Mouthfeel is good with light carbonation.

Drinkability is medium due to the high level of sweetness.

I sampled this on tap at the bottleworks after taking a tour of their brewery. It poured a brownish honey type color. This is made w maple syrup and you can tell immediately after taking a big smell of it. The taste is good, but VERY sweet. This wouldn't make a bad dessert beer after dinner or would pair well w ice cream, but more than one would be tough IMO
