My good friend and old neighbor from Oswego gave me a bottle of this beer. It poured an opaque dark with no head and no lace. The scent had caramel creme and espresso highlights. The taste was nicely balanced and easy to drink with baileys Irish creme base and toffee flare. The mouthfeel was lighter in body with good carbonation. Overall its a good beer.

Appearance: Dark with ruby highlights, a fine khaki head and rings of lace.
Aroma: Cinnamon, spicy vanilla, and coffee. Unusual and superb.
Taste: Cinnamon and spices up front, with mocha coffee underneath and slight bittersweet finish. Well-done and complex. Another winner from the 2018 Schlafly Stout Bout mixer.

Poured from a brown 12 oz. bottle. Has a black color with a inch head. Smell is strong of cinnamon, coffee is present. Taste is also dominated by cinnamon, coffee and vanilla are in the mix, I'm not getting any caramel at all. Feels medium bodied in the mouth and overall is decent, but not the flavors I was expecting.

Dark brown body that lets the light in. Smells just like dulche de leche, especially the cream and cinnamon aspects. The taste is watery however, with the malts having a touch of metal, but the cinnamon and cream hold for the most part. Feel is thin and watery

Black with one finger tan head that's made of medium-to-large bubbles. They quickly settle to a thin ring, leaving a little slippery lacing. Sweet smells of coffee (not quite as nice as their coffee stout), roasted malt, and lots of cinnamon. There's also some caramel and a subtle vanilla. The taste is similar; the cinnamon dominates thanks to an enormous presence that almost outshines the familiar roasted flavor. The vanilla's a bit clearer in the taste, but still plays second fiddle. Or third fiddle, I guess, after coffee. The caramel is actually really subtle, surprisingly. In the end, the flavor gets kind of old before the glass is gone. Overall, it's a decent gimmicky stout with an odd name, since this isn't what I expect from dulce de leche at all... that would be caramelized sweetened condensed milk. The vanilla belongs, but coffee and cinnamon? D- for adhering to the name, but that's not how I'm judging it. It's medium to medium full bodied with some sweetness and cinnamon-y bitterness lingering in the aftertaste.

Taste: complex, roasted spice, sweet, caramel, toffee, cinnamon, vanilla, smokey malty yet crisp dry finish. Same with the nose. Black/brown hue, semi clear, tan foamy head then delicate lace. Medium to med/full body. 30 IBUs

12oz bottle. Poured out an opaque, jet-black color with a small, light brown head of foam. It smelled of cinnamon, vanilla, coffee and milk chocolate. Nice strong cinnamon taste with coffee and chocolate.
