Hazy Punch IPA features some of the juiciest hops we could get our hands on, with the addition of cara cara orange and pineapple.

Hazy orange/yellow color with a modest but lasting white head.
The aroma is pineapple, citrus, other tropical fruits.
The taste is pineapple, Cara Cara oranges, grapefruit, passion fruit, mango with a nice sweet/tart balance. The finish is dry with lingering citrus zest.
The body is medium, moderate carbonation, smooth, inviting and very easy to drink.
Altogether, this is a very tasty and refreshing brew, enjoyable for any occasion.

Smooth, fruity and vibrant, Schlafly brewers are all aboard the haze train with a hazy IPA that carries a punch.

Pouring a foggy golden taupe appearance and held in a soft glow, Hazy Punch IPA reels in the nose with a juicy scent of tropical, citrus and stone fruits. As its scent carries also a soft herbal and sprucy scent, the taste however kicks off with a soft, sweet and doughy center of powdered sugar, honeysuckle and angel food cake.

As the cereal and malt sweetness carries over to a juicy middle palate, the hops deliver a true punch of orange, red grapefruit, lime and lemon. As the taste develops from a citrusy focus to a more tropical one, notions of passionfruit, papaya, mango and pineapple all round out the fruit cocktail of flavors. Trailing into a smooth balance of spruce, tea, verbena and sassafras, the session seems wrapped in a cocoon of honeydew melon and pawpaw.

Medium bodied and carrying an even keel bitter-sweet balance, the IPA is truly smooth, fruity and easy going with a malty-dry finish and an aftertaste of tea, hemp and citrus peel.

I got a can of this beer from my good friend and old neighbor from the 'Wego. It poured a hazy orangish with very thin white ring head that is leaving any lace. The scent had subtle fruit notes. The taste was nicely balanced and easy to drink with bright malt base and mango spritz. The mouthfeel was lighter in body with good carbonation. Overall it is a good beer.

On tap at Taylor's Books in Charleston WV.

Appearance. Under a fine white head lies a hazy golden body. The head leaves good lacing on the glass.

As the name suggests, this is a fruity IPA with plenty of tropical and pitted fruit notes and nary a sign of pine.

Well carbonated but perhaps a touch too thin.

Pineapple smell upon open of the can. I drank this from the can. Dry pineapple finish with some citrus mixed in. Interesting beer. I have 5 more and will see how this does from a glass.

12oz can poured into a tulip

A- pours a hazy pale yellow color with a one-finger foamy white head that has great retention

S- juicy tropical hop notes of mango, pineapple, citrus zest and green melon

T- sweet and juicy tropical hop notes up front, with mango, melon and cantaloupe leading the way. Mid-palate brings out some zesty citrus with a hint of sweet malt. The finish gives more citrus, melon and pineapple

M- medium body with moderate carbonation leads to a foamy mouthfeel and a slightly creamy finish

Gold in color with a hazy complexion. There’s a small amount of moderate sized sediment in the body. There’s a fingernail of dishwater white around the rim and covering nearly all of the top. The aroma is citrus and pineapple. I’m tasting citrus and pineapple. The mouth is light and easygoing.

12oz can. Poured out a cloudy, golden orange color with a small, off-white head of foam. It left sudsy trails of lace on the glass. It smelled of grapefruit, orange, pineapple and guava. Some caramel notes, too. Sweet tropical fruit taste with toasted caramel and subtle piney bite.

poured from a 12oz can into a willi becher pint glass. pours a semi hazy orange with almost two fingers of frothy white head. huge citrus and grapefruit aromas on the nose. taste is more of the same with a tropical fruit and juicy hop flavor. oranges, lemons, limes and grapefruit. the grapefruit aspects provide the bitterness. medium-full mouthfeel with a moderate level of carbonation. this was definitely better than the Just A Bit Hazy which was also included in the patio pack.
