Black in color with minimal light penetration. There’s a quarter inch of creamy khaki brown on top. Light, soapy lacing. The aroma is straight up spicy to earthy chai tea. I’m tasting lightly spicy chai. The mouth is dry and lightly oily.

While I like my stouts bolder than this, I think the chai differentiates the taste and feel from other coffee stouts. Nice to try once.

12oz bottle. Poured out an opaque, jet-black color with a small, khaki-colored head of foam. It left sudsy trails of lace on the glass. It smelled of chai, chocolate, caramel and spices. Nice spicy taste with chai, chocolate and sweet toffee.
