Pours a clear, dark brown color. 1/3 inch head of an off-white color. Great retention and great lacing. Smells of sweet malt, roasted malt, slight oatmeal, slight alcohol, and a hint of hop. Fits the style of an American Porter. Mouth feel is smooth and crisp, with an average carbonation level. Tastes of sweet malt, roasted malt, slight oatmeal, slight earthy malt, and hops. Overall, the malts dominate, but hop bitterness is there in the finish to help in balance. Good appearance, body, blend, and aroma.
