Poured from the can into a Spiegelau IPA glass.
Slightly opaque dull yellow, with a little bit of body shine. Head is a surprising short white faint size of only two fingers. Creamy topped but with not much else going for the brew.
Aroma goes for tea like leaf of hop and a strange baby aspirin quality. Mild sensing florals, with a touch of grass like herbs but just barely. A bit of diversity but also not much else here, and nothing that comes off as inspiring.
Palate is interesting and unexpected. A surprising juiced orange flavor that hits the tongue on first sip, followed by more citrus flavors and some tropical notes also. Bit of lacking mouthfeel here to be honest, comes off feeling wet and the flavors tend to disappear and dissolve it seems rather quickly. Soda like fruit juice on the finish, just a light touch of astringency.
Not too bad but has a bit of a lifeless quality to it. In the realm of millions of IPAs out there this one is not getting the job done but things could be a lot worse.

Slightly hazy straw yellow color with a respectable and lasting foamy white head that produces some very nice lacing.
The aroma is pineapple, mango, and citrus with a hint of light caramel malt.
The taste is juicy sweet up front with pineapple, tangerine, lemon, mango, passion fruit and grapefruit with light caramel malt. The finish is drier with grapefruit zest and pine lingering.
The body is medium, good level of carbonation, crisp but smooth and very drinkable.
Altogether, this is a very tasty and refreshing brew, moderate bitterness but nicely balanced, very enjoyable. The 8% ABV is well hidden but appreciated.

The St. Louis Brewery, LLC "Mighty Haze Double IPA"
12 fl. oz. can coded "02 01 2023 16:45". Sampled on 04 20 2023
$20.29 / HAZED FOR DAYS Variety 12 PACK @ Javies Beverage, Phila., PA
Notes via stream of consciousness: Well, it's 8%! I guess that is "mighty". It's poured a hazy golden body with visible bits in suspension. I think they're little niblets of hops as they don't look like yeast and they're not dropping out. The head is a creamy cap of white that's a finger's width thick. In the nose it's surprisingly bright for a double IPA, and quite tropical. Pineapple, peach, and tangerine stand out but there's more to it than that. The flavor follows, offering up a sweetish malt base that seems to contain some floral oats, and hoppy notes of pine, peach, mango, pineapple, tangerine, guava, and grapefruit. A median bitterness of 30 to 40 IBUs balances it and it's sweetish upfront but mostly dry in the end with some pine, grapefruit, and earthiness lingering shortly. In the mouth it's medium to medium-full in body and gently crisp. The head has held up fairly well, and the lacing is very good, looking like Acacia trees growing on the African savannah. It's not the greastest double IPA but it's solid, and it could make a good go-to.

12oz can. Poured out a slightly cloudy, golden orange color with a small, white head of fluffy foam. It left sudsy rings of lace on the glass. It smelled of citrus, resin, toasted bread and roasted malt. Sweet citrus, grapefruit and caramel with a piney bitterness.
