This German-style Helles lager was first brewed to compete with the popular Czech Pilsners of the time. It’s a clean yet complex lager with pleasant spicy notes, delicate noble hops and a distinct white head. Don’t be fooled by its vibrant straw color, it’s more malt-forward than a light lager or a pilsner, with a crisp and dry finish.

12oz can. Poured out a crystal clear, straw yellow color with a small, white head of fizzy foam. It left minimal lacing, It smelled of bread crust, hay and some citrus. Sweet caramel taste with biscuity malt and a very mild bitterness.

From a mixed pack of German-style beer, this one is from a twelve ounce aluminum can. The liquid is crystal clear and light gold, with a puffy, firm, white head. Lots of attractive lace. Faint malt and herbal hops in the aroma. I'd prefer a little more intensity. The taste is similar....Light malt, drinkable, enough hops for balance. Thin finish and mouthfeel. There are much better examples of this style. I expected a lot more.

Pours a dark yellow with a pale fog to the translucency. Head is a finger and a half of white foam. Aroma is crackers and biscuits in a blend of dry malts. Bread adds a little depth to the malts with grassy and semi-spicy hops layered on the top. Flavor profile is a blend of crackers, biscuits, grassy, spicy, and zesty hops. It's semi-dry as a whole and quick. Mouth feel is medium-thin in thickness with a crispy texture. Overall, quick, dry, and somewhat dirty.
