Our Northern English Brown Ale is a malt-focused beer with hints of nuttiness, biscuit, and caramel. Subtle English hops and yeast round out the finish.

12oz can. Poured out a clear, brown color with golden highlights and a small, khaki-colored head of foam. It left sudsy lacing. It smelled of roasted malt, coffee and caramel. Sweet chocolate, toffee and roasted malt.

Brown in color with excellent clarity. There’s a fingernail of brown around the rim and covering nearly all of the top. Lightly spotted lacing. I’m smelling lightly toasted nuts and caramel. I’m tasting lightly toasted malt, lightly toasted nuts and a lightly bready malt. The mouth is light and refreshing.

This brew is a clear umber color with a tall, very rocky and firm off-white head. The aroma has a nutty, lightly roasted malt quality, accented with an earthy hop aroma. The taste light caramel and bread flavor. Balanced to be a little dry with a medium body. The nutty and light roast qualities contribute through the finish. This is a tasty beer. It was part of their British Pub mixed Pack.
