Pours a clear, light copper color. 1/4 inch head of a white color. Decent retention and decent lacing. Smells of slight smoke, pale malt, slight sweet malt, and a hint of hop. Fits the style of a Rauchbier. Mouth feel is sharp and clean, with an average carbonation level. Tastes of smoke, pale malt, slight sweet malt, and a hint of hop. Overall, while this was an enjoyably session-able beer with a nice smoky profile, the complexity was greatly lacking and the flavors were underperforming.
