Copenhagen 12/11 2024. 50 cl bottle from Meny, Borups Allé, Frb. F. Dark blue label with the name of the beer in gold.
Pours unclear - almost opaque - orange with a mid-sized white head. Bubbly. Settles as thin and patchy layer of foam unable of covering the surface of the beer. No lacing.
Aroma is medium intense with a sweet malty, lightly toasted odor mingling with a bit of citrus and sour grains. Sweet biscuits, toffee and toasted bread. Orange jam. Lemon and grains.
Light carbonation. Slightly thick, oily, soft, almost flat texture.
Flavor is medium intense with a rather strong sweetness followed by a medium strong bitterness. Aftertaste is bitt. Lingers for a while. Finish is quite dry.
A fine and bitter Christmas greeting.
