From the pint can, it pours a dark brown/black color with a nice light tan head that slowly reduces and leaves lacing. The nose gets roasted and black malts, followed by the mouth getting the same, with a lightness about it not reminiscent of a porter, possibly because of the inclusion of the rice. Decent.
