Popped in for a visit on my last day in Honolulu...They have PARKING! (Rare in Honolulu). The only sell cans in 4 packs, but they are attractive. Good crew, good vibe, well located, good swag! Honestly, compared to the other brewpubs I saw on Oahu, they obviously had $$ to set up and did a great job! Wide variety of brews on tap, including a couple LUKRs. LUKRs to the uninformed (like me, despite my nearly half century beer drinking experience) is a Czech style side pull faucet that allows the bartender to control the foam/beer ratio - it works well here!).

I visited Hana Koa on 5/26/2024.
V - The brewery was pretty busy and very friendly.
Q - The beers were very good.
S - The waitstaff were very friendly and helpful.
S - They had an excellent selection when I visited. They had 17 beers on tape, including 1 LUKR tap, 4 can pours, 1 seltzer, 2 ciders, and 2 kombuchas.
F - They had a full menu. We tried a couple appetizers and they were very good.
Overall - I highly recommend visiting Hana Koa if in the area. There beers were really good, the staff was friendly, and the food was good. They also offer 4 packs to go.

Had a great time here. If you find yourself on Oahu, it is highly recommended that you come here. Great selection, various styles and the food was great, too.

Visited with my wife for an early dinner on Saturday, 2022-02-26. We had a couple beers and took home a crowler.
I ate ramen (not bad) and my wife had saimin (a noodle dish, very good). I was a little surprised when a staff member came out and actually asked specifically about how our food was and seemed interested in our feedback.
They had a pretty decent selection of beers, though not huge, and the ones we tried were good, not great. Staff seemed knowledgeable about beer. Service was friendly and prompt.

My wife and I visited Hana Koa Brewing while in Honolulu a few months ago before the pandemic started; I'm just getting around to typing up my notes now.
Huge trendy clean-industrial taproom in a bit of a warehousey type neighborhood; the build out looks brand new and spotless. It looks like they have a whole extra big space to accommodate parties, too.
When we visited, there were 17 beers on tap tap. I had several beers, including a flight of "crumb cake" beers, with the same beer fruited 5 different ways; it was a very interesting tasting. The IPA and saison were decent, as well.
My wife and I had salads and pickled onion rings, and the food is darn good. Overall it's pretty pricey, even by Honolulu standards, but still a good stop and worth a visit.
