The "brewed with honey" part scared me; I'm not much into sweet or flavored beer. To my surprise, it was not sweet at all. The honey was there but very subtle; it didn't distract from the pale ale flavor or overpower anything. I really liked this one a good Pale Ale, and it would go well with a pizza or something like that, too. Would buy it again.

Canned 2.20.23
Poured at fridge temp into a willi glass.
Pours a cloudy orange with a golden sheen and soapy consistency off white head. Truly a near perfect, if not, honey colored ale. 4.25
Slight earthy sweetness, from the honey I guarantee and very light hop aromas. Touch of dewy florals as well. 3.75
Floral hops, rich honey, a subtle malt backbone, very tasty and more than makes up for the other categories. 4.25
Very smooth and soft carbo, good and well made but nothing outstanding/noteworthy for body. 3.75
Overall a good IPA, almost a mead/IPA fusion imo. Wonder if allergies/hayfever are detracting from the experience. 4

Look: Pours a honeycomb yellow with a thin beige head.
Smell: Lemon peel, citrus, honey. Nice little blend here, and the hops are pretty powerful on the nose as well.
Taste: Not an overly dominant taste but it’s thorough. I’m getting lemon, orange, and floral patterns, along with honey as it goes down. Neat little blend.
Feel: This is 7% ABV but feels lighter. Easy drinker.
Overall: This is a great offering by Bewilder. If this is their flagship IPA then I’m really looking forward to trying more of their beer.

a really wonderful beer here, the best ive had from these guys, classically styled ipa done with honey, great flavor and balance to this, nicely refined, something quite special here, a local gem. its rather clear, orange toned, and with a lazy white head from the tap, patchy after a minute, but not short on carbonation when i drink it. the aroma is lightly floral, some spicy hops in the background behind more citrus forward varietals, i get orange peel, a little pink grapefruit, and some pine, northwestern and not overdone, not all dry hopped either, some bitterness it seems to balance the bit of sweetness running through the aroma, i can place honey here for sure, and some light crystal malt. the honey and the grain together are great in the flavor, sweet but not overly so, more flavor than sugar, especially by the end, some nice structure too, medium bodied and smooth, softening some of the alpha acid in the hops, and enhancing the pine needle finish, really delicious. definite tangerine to the hops too, grassy and even a little peppery late too, solid with the floral side of the honey, there is a ton of nuance as this warms too. the ferment is clean, the texture is mellow, and the honey does a lot in here, great to have the honey in an ipa that isnt hazy and has some bitterness, totally different. very enjoyable brew here, a big step forward for these guys since i was there back when they first opened. this one is a winner!
