I HATE gin, both straight and in cocktails, and I think that is important to note for this review.
Pours a (gorgeous)rich honey golden bordering on amber when the light catches it. Thin white head that settles in a very thin ring. 4
Aroma off the can is very botanical with some citrus notes coming from the Amarillo and centennial hops. The gin is also present yet not overwhelming. 4
Gin forward, very herbal/botanical as gin is, however the IPA-ness isn't lost at all. Bitter, hoppy and the barrel leaves behind a touch of wood. Honey sweetness perfectly joins the IPA and gin. 4.5
Biting sharpness at first, followed by a light booze warming and a lovely dry finish I suspect from the honey. 4.25
Overall I'm not left disappointed and am actually quite impressed Bewilder took a spirit I can't stand and made a beer I'll absolutely be returning to as often as I can. 4.25

We love reviews (150 characters or more)! Check out: How to Review a Beer. You don't need to get fancy. Drop some thoughts on the beer's attributes (look, smell, taste, feel) plus your overall impression. Something that backs up your rating and helps others. Thanks!
