We used a similar base with this recipe as we do for our other sour beers for a refreshing, medium-alcohol beer with a clean lactic sourness. We then dry hopped it with Idaho Gem hops, added copious amounts of cranberry puree, a lot of fresh orange peel, and some cinnamon. This is a one of a kind flavor medley that came just in time for the holiday season.

16oz can from Utah State liquor store. Copper colored pour, thin ring of off-white foam. Aroma is mulling spices, cinnamon, nutmeg, allspice. Taste adds a hint of sourness, light fruity notes, cranberry, with the holiday spice sinking into the background. A little bit of pucker remains on the palate.
