12oz mason jar obtained under odd circumstances too lengthy to go into about two weeks ago. Opened it today for science and discovered it was still very much viable.

According to a can shaped glass, it was a seemingly black color, with an abundant off-white head. Lots of lace.

Sweet in the nose. Scents of fresh bread and molasses. A tiny bit of fruitiness, as well.

Mildly chocolaty and rosti in the flavor. There's a little bit of a fruitiness in the background. Finish is clean.

Body is somewhere between light and medium. Mouth field is somewhat thin and clean.

While nothing revolutionary, this is a quite nice dark lager. If looking for something with a bit more maltiness then say, a pilsner or a helles, this will do the trick nicely.
