solid brew here, this cold ipa style is really taking off. this is a funny one, still hazy from the tap which is weird, yellow and normal looking, i thought these were supposed to have some clarity, i could be wrong. anyway, this smells like citra, tastes like tangerine peel and coriander a little bit, familiar but strange, weird but good, the hops hit in a cool newish way even though i know i have been here before. some malt to it, but more raw grain that anything intentionally concocted for this. why cant barley just be trendy and fun again without being a throwback to somebodys grandparent or something, like why does this have to be about a memory, let it be about the now! good aroma and flavor, juicy and fruit forward as the hops go, pineapple and melon, some light burn, but its not dangerous like or anything, not risky, and i want my ipa to pack a little something, so i am thankful for this element, it might be too delicate without it, it just tastes like canned fruit cocktail from the lunchroom. not boring but known. i like this style, it has become and will stay a thing, but cold ipa is a style now that we used to just call ipa...
