OK so full disclosure, this is actually our E.S.B. We have grown a little weary of explaining to people that our E.S.B. (or Extra Special Bitter) is in fact not bitter at all, but a smooth and balanced English-style pale ale.
While Extra Special Bitter is the traditional name for this style of beer, we have found it to be Extra Special - ly confusing to our patrons. So we are re-branding. We asked a whole bunch of real Brits, and the name we landed on is Traditional English Pale Ale. Hope you like it. But don't worry, if you don't like the name we can always change it again - making this can a very limited edition of TRADITIONAL ENGLISH PALE ALE.

Just short of clear copper amber pour with 2 fingers of creamy khaki coloured head.
Aroma is super malty, bread/toast, caramel with a toffee note and ever so slightly floral.
Tastes of sweet grainy caramel malt, toast/bready, a touch of a woody note and a slightly earthy hop bitterness at the back.
Smooth medium mouthfeel - creamy with low moderate carbonation and a lingering caramel bittersweetness. Exceptionally drinkable and tasty - a very under rated style.
