Growler, poured day after fill:
Similar to my taster at the brewery, with a little less carbonation, though nothing being a day old growler can't potentially explain. Nose is a little easier to discern, but still isn't very strong. I am getting more clay, dry herbs, and spice than I did at the brewery, with a more neutral grain aroma.
Similar to taster, the beer has both a grain bread aspect (with some malt sweetness) and a hint of spice in the dried herbs noted in the nose. The combination leads to a balanced but not bland opening. The beer grows more bitter with herb, spice, and grass influences. A little bit of honey and keeps the bitterness from getting out of hand and what yields it leads to a feel that is between light and medium and more balanced, but still a little on the dry side.
Taster (original notes):
Medium gold body, clear with active bubbles sustaining a medium thick ring. Ever so lightly fruity grain with some generically earthy hops in the aromas. Slightly sweet bread opening, becoming a tad husky before earthy, spicy hops turn things bitter. It is a constrained bitterness and there is a honey-bread- like sweetness threaded in to keep things balanced.
