What better way to celebrate one year of IBC than with Red Girl Rye? She hasn't been on tap in a while, but she's been using her time off to hit the gym and bulk up! Imperial Red Girl boasts the same unique combination of spicy Chinook hops and sharp rye flavor, and this new variant features an even fuller body and depth of character. Cheers to everyone for supporting us this first year - we couldn't have done it without you!

On tap at Irondequoit Brewing Company in Irondequoit, NY.
This one pours a reddish brown color, with a small white head, and a decent bit of lacing.
This smells like spicy hops, black pepper, fresh cut grass, sweet caramel malt, and breadiness.
This was easily the best of the beers I had from this young brewery. It's not perfect, as the malt character feels just a bit too sweet for my preference. The hop character is nice though - Chinook works well for this sort of "imperial red IPA" style.
This is medium bodied, slightly creamy, and decently drinkable.
This brewery has a long way to go, but this was pleasant enough.
