This beer is clear and pale straw with clouds of fine carbonation swarming upwards. A one inch frothy white head compresses to half an inch before holding for the duration. Patches of lace are left on a Strangebird IIPA glass.
The hops have a spicy aroma with sulfur and cooked corn quickly following. Lots of grain and grain dust fill out the profile.
This one is crisp and tilted more sweet than bitter. Cereal grain and light honey fill it out before the long finish becomes astringent.
The alcohol and modest fizzy carbonation are as expected in this medium bodied beer with a stiff nylon texture.
This one is nice and uncomplicated. I figure it would be more welcome late summer to mid autumn. I enjoyed it with Emmental Swiss cheese even though there was no real interaction in the pairing.
