A: Pours with a slight chilled haze. An orange/copper color. A densely packed two finger white head forms with good retention and plenty of lace.
S: Bright citrus and orange rind. Along with grapefruit and pine resin. A nice C hop presents, that while simple is pretty vibrant and aromatic.
T: Again, that old school C Hop character. Orange, citrus, grapefruit and pine. There is some caramel malts in there for balance. A nice bitterness lingers.
M/O: A medium to full body. Crisp carbonation that is smooth at the same time. This finishes dry and clean. Really easy and enjoyable to drink. A nice old school IPA.
I wish some breweries around Houston could make an IPA this good. Its not the most original take on the style, but clean and vibrant means a lot more to me than "innovation". While the ciders are definitely good, and you should try them when visiting, this adds a nice variety for people looking for something else as well.
