I sampled a bottle of this while visiting Waldgaststätte Bienenheim, near München. It poured a dull brown color, with natural yeasty haze, and a rocky, light tan 3" topping of foam. Has a steady stream of bubbles rising through the bier, and lacing left by the head is top-shelf. Has a heavy clove nose, some sweetness, and a mild banana aspect as well. Medium bodied, and not too rough at all considering the high carbonation level. Has good amounts of clove and banana in the flavor profile as well. Not overwhelmingly strong, but a palate-pleaser none-the-less. Upon warming slightly some chocolate comes through, and even some slight fruit hints (like pear and apple). Nice Bier!! Prosit!!
