Had a couple of pints of this today at the Restaurant at Smuttynose, with Alewife.... cost was $7.00 per...
It was a clear, bright, rich, medium golden color, with plentiful carbo. Had a creamy, snow white head, which sat at 1/4" for some time, and left lovely lacing. Aroma had light smoke hovering over crackery malts. Body was medium, with a fairly smooth feel.
Taste was dry, with more crackery malt and light sweetness. Had a subtle but noticeable layer of smokey action. Was clean and crisp, with a smidge of noble hopping adding a hint of spiciness in the finish. Prosit!!
