I drank Auris 19 side-by-side with Riegele's Hell & Stark (8.5 ABV). The big difference is the fumes; 19 keeps them in check.
19 also opens with a big fluffy head that leaves only a trace. Its Smells are richer because the fumes are more modest. Its Tastes are more balanced because, again, 19 doesn't finish with fumes. Medium-mouth and close to viscous because fumes don't run interference.

I bought a 0.67l bottle of this (for €4.90) and quaffed it in the Burggarten in Rothenburg on 17SEP16.
I filled a Teku glass with a clear, bright, medium-golden liquid. It had fine, slow carbo, and a thin, off-white head with some stick. Smelled of honey and some light fruit, with a bit of bready malt. Body was a good medium, with just a bit of light prickle making for a smooth passage.
Flavor was a touch bready and toasty, with light sweetness. Again, found more honey, a hint of caramel, and some pear and green apple. Was dry at the finish, where it had a kiss of floral hops. Pretty good, overall. Prosit!

Clear golden with a thick white head without lacing. Smells like a typical Helles Bock: bready malt profile and slightly buttery. Also a good whiff of apple. Carbonation jumps out right away at first sip; prickly. A little hop bitterness balanced with the malts, and a good spicy, graininess at the end. Alcohol is present, but not overpowering.

Clear golden, white unstable head.
Noble German hops, Pilsner malt, apple, roasted nuts, but all restrained
Taste of Sweet Pilsener malt, but ends rather dry and hop bitter,
Medium body, fine carbonation, alcohol a little warming
Incredibly drinkable for the 9%. The beer was fermented with ale yeast according to the lable but aroma and taste are still quite clean as in a Heller Bock, but much less sweet than you would expect. A beer that will appeal to German drinker.

Saw 'Pilsener Malz' in the ingredients, so chanced a fairly aggressive pour in a pils (narrow) stein. Worked reasonably well, as there is a lot of carbonation here -- poured a big-bubbled very white head which settled quickly, and faded reasonably quickly after that, leaving a couple of threads of lacing on the way.
Beer is a strong deep golden colour.
Beer is very nicely balanced:
sweet -- with floral, citrus, and prickly bitterness -- enough bitterness to frame and contain the sweetness, and counteract the alcohol which mostly comes through in the finish.
Dangerously drinkable for a beer @9.0% :-)

Auris 19 has a thin, white, quickly-dissipating head, a hazy, slightly bubbly, gold appearance, with no lacing left behind. The aroma is of green apple skin, sourdough bread, and yeast. Taste is of those elements, save the apple, with a bitterness that grows as one sips down the beer. There is a light roastiness, too. Mouthfeel is medium to heavy, and Auris 19 finishes mostly dry.
