Page yellow Albert in color with little head. Flavor is coffee and cream. Mouthfeel is light and crisp with moderate carbonation, and a nice medium finish.

i thought this was fantastic, been wanting to check this place out since it opened and i was pumped on the two beers i had time to drink here. this one is a blonde ale base type done with coffee, which i have to imagine is cold brew, as the pungency is high but the acidity is nil. its golden and pretty clear, insanely light looking for having coffee in it and also for being as strong as it is, a little sneaky there. i love the nose, the base beer is light and clean, nothing from the ferment, simple on the grain side, and dry, so the coffee stands out. its fresh to me, pretty deeply roasted but more chocolate than bitterness, dark baking cocoa and light tobacco and molasses notes, amazing how bright the coffee shines here, and the taste is similar, a hazelnut or almond layer to it, and it changes from start to finish, a little richer up front, more roast later, but its stays beery and really is beautifully proportioned. the overall quality is high too, tidy ferment and great carbonation keep it light to drink, and the way the flavor evolves is awesome. great use of the coffee here, unconventional and really well executed. this place is cool, probably deserves more hype than its getting from a beer standpoint!

L:. Pours a very clear brilliant golden yellow with a small white head and no lacing on the glass.

S:. Very strong earthy coffee a note of berries from the coffee, the beer is very one note with mostly coffee.

T:. Strong earthy coffee with a note of berries, the coffee is very strong in this one and covers the rest of the beer.

F:. Prickly carbonation, light to medium body.

O:. This is a very one note beer that is all coffee.

I almost expected this to be a white stout, with as much coffee flavor as they packed in, but it's a blonde ale. It's 7%, one of their higher ABV beers, but it works. This was a nice changeup to the lighter beers they had when I visited.
